Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Mymi Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Mymi Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Alcohol Barbiturates Chloramphenicol Cimetidine Colchicine Diphenylhydantoin Famotidine Isoniazid Lansoprazole Levodopa
Side Effects: Alpha-lipoic acid is possibly safe for most adults when taken by mouth , when used intravenously or when applied to the skin. People taking alpha-lipoic acid by mouth might get a rash. People at risk for thiamine deficiency should take a thiamine supplement.People with diabetes should be careful to check their blood sugar levels because alpha-lipoic acid might lower blood sugar.Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.Although not all side effects are known, alpha-lipoic acid is thought to be possibly safe when taken as directed.Stop taking alpha-lipoic acid and call your doctor at once if you have:Low blood sugar-headache, hunger, weakness, sweating, confusion, irritability, dizziness, fast heart rate, or feeling jittery or a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.Common side effects may include:Nausea or skin rash.
How to Store it: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, protected from moisture.
Over Dose: Symptoms may include dizziness or light-headedness; fast or difficult breathing; feeling of being unusually cold; general feeling of being unwell; muscle pain or tenderness; slow or irregular heartbeat; unusual drowsiness; unusual stomach discomfort; unusual weakness or tiredness.
Precautions: Before using Mymi Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Administration of folic acid alone is improper therapy for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias in which vitamin B12 is deficient Avoid alcohol consumption, especially if having alcoholic cirrhosis Difficulty in breathing Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure the diagnosis of pernicious anemia History of liver disease Hives Notify doctor if experiencing burning, tingling, or numb feeling Pregnant or breastfeeding Pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding Risk of obscuring the diagnosis of pernicious anemia
Missed Dose: In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
