Ambrodil S Syrup 100ml belongs to the therapeutic classification of Antiasthmatic Drugs and COPD Medications, Cough and Cold Medicines. The primary composition for this medicine is Ambroxol 15 MG, Salbutamol 1 MG /5ML.

Warnings: Before taking Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml, let your doctor know if have a history of heart, liver and kidney diseases. Also tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, seizure (fits), high blood pressure, and diabetes before taking Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml. Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml causes hypokalaemia (low potassium levels in the blood), therefore should be used with caution in patients with bronchospasm. Special precautions should be taken in patients with hyperthyroidism and epilepsy. Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml can cause a rise in blood glucose levels. Hence monitor your blood glucose levels if you have diabetes and inform your doctor so that the dose can be adjusted accordingly. Also, let your doctor know if you plan to become pregnant or already pregnant and a lactating mother. If you unexpectedly go into early labour or premature labour (before 9 months) or threatened abortion, do not use Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml and consult a doctor.
Medicine Interaction: Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml may interact with respiratory-related medicines (beclomethasone, aminophylline, theophylline), blood pressure medicines (propranolol), antidepressants (isocarboxazid, phenelzine, clomipramine, tranylcypromine), Parkinson's disease medication (rasagiline, selegiline), fluid retention drugs (bendroflumethiazide, indapamide, bumetanide, furosemide), corticosteroids (betamethasone, prednisolone, triamcinolone), and heart related drugs (digoxin).

Over Dose: When a dose is taken in higher dose than the recommended doses, it is called Overdose. Overdose always needs a clinical supervision. Missed Dose: In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
