Dulcoflex (Dulcoflex) is a laxative that stimulates bowel movements.
Dulcoflex is used to treat constipation or to empty the bowels before surgery, colonoscopy, x-rays, or other intestinal medical procedure.
Dulcoflex tablets generally produce a bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours. Dulcoflex suppositories generally produces bowel movements in 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Warnings: Do not take Dulcoflex Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Avoid intake of milk, or any antacid medicines together with Dulcoflex Tablet 10's. It is advisable to maintain a gap of one hour between Dulcoflex Tablet 10's and antacid drugs, milk/dairy products, magnesium, and calcium to avoid any interactions. Talk to your doctor if there is no bowel movement or if you find rectal bleeding after taking Dulcoflex Tablet 10's. Do not take Dulcoflex Tablet 10's if you have severe dehydration, appendicitis, blockage in the intestine, blocked bowel, or inflammation of the bowel. Talk to your doctor before taking Dulcoflex Tablet 10's if you have liver or kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking Dulcoflex Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; your doctor will prescribe you Dulcoflex Tablet 10's only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Dulcoflex Tablet 10's causes drowsiness, so drive if you are alert. Dulcoflex Tablet 10's should not be given to children below four years as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Dulcoflex Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness. Do not take Dulcoflex Tablet 10's for more than five days as it may cause dependency on Dulcoflex Tablet 10's for a bowel movement.
Medicine Interaction: Dulcoflex Tablet 10's may have interaction with bendrofluazide and furosemide (used to treat oedema), prednisolone (used to treat inflammation), magnesium hydroxide, lactulose, polyethylene glycol, ondansetron (used to prevent Nausea and vomiting), and other laxative medicines.
Side Effects: Signs of an allergic reaction to Dulcoflex: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Dulcoflex and call your doctor at once if you have:
rectal bleeding or
no bowel movement after using Dulcoflex.
