Dolorin Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of migraine. It blocks certain substances in the brain that trigger Nausea or vomiting during migraine headaches.
Dolorin Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects are dryness in mouth, increased heart rate, and restlessness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. Migraine attacks can be managed by identifying migraine-causing triggers which may be red wine, caffeine withdrawal, stress, and skipped meals, etc. You can identify personal triggers by maintaining a diary of what you are doing, what you are eating, and any stressful Activity happened before migraine attack.

Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dolorin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Dolorin Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Dolorin Tablet is a combination of three medicines: caffeine, domperidone and paracetamol. Caffeine narrows the blood vessels in the brain to reduce headache. It also increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain.
