Milixim Turbo Tablet is used to treat infections such as bronchitis (infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. This medication also treats the common cold and urinary tract infections.
This medicine only treats bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu. It works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. Milixim Turbo Tablet usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. It should be taken at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.
Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Milixim Turbo Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Milixim Turbo Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Milixim Turbo Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Linezolid. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Linezolid stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.
