Nutaxin Injection is used to treat severe bacterial infection of the lungs, airways, skin and gynaecological diseases. It contains cefotaxime as an Active component that belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics. This injection will be given to you at the hospital under medical supervision.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Nutaxin S 1000mg/500mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefotaxime and Sulbactam. Cefotaxime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the Activity of Cefotaxime against bacteria.
