Cz 3 belongs to the Antihistamines class of medicines. Antihistamines help in relieving allergic symptoms. They do so by blocking the effects of histamines. Histamines are produced by the body and in-turn cause fever, itching, sneezing, a runny nose, or watery eyes in allergic conditions

Warnings: Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML, consult your doctor. If you have kidney problems, dose adjustment might be required; the doctor will do it depending upon your disease's condition. Please inform your doctor if you have a problem passing urine and have epilepsy (fits) before starting CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML. If you are supposed to undergo skin testing, the doctor might advise you to stop taking CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML 72 hours before the test as it decreases response to skin prick test. Patients should be cautioned against getting engaged in the work which required too much mental alertness like operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle after intake of CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML. Concurrent use of CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML with alcohol or other antidepressants should be avoided as it can reduce your mental alertness. The daily dose in adults and children 12 years of age and older should not take more than 5 mg once daily. Besides this, in children 6-11 years of age, the recommended dose is 2.5 mg once daily. Patients should avoid taking over dosage of CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML because of the increased risk of sleepiness and drowsiness at higher doses.
Medicine Interaction: CZ 3 SYRUP 60ML have interactions with pain killer (antipyrine), antibiotics (azithromycin, erythromycin), antacid (cimetidine), anti-fungal (ketoconazole), respiratory disease medicine (theophylline), and decongestant (pseudoephedrine), anti-viral or anti HIV drugs (ritonavir).
