Uses

The capsules are primarily used for:

• The eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection, which is often associated with peptic ulcer disease.

How It Works

This combination medication works through different mechanisms:

• Bismuth Subcitrate Potassium acts by coating ulcers, protecting them from stomach acid, and has antibacterial properties.
• Metronidazole and Tetracycline HCl are antibiotics that kill bacteria, including H. pylori, by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and damaging DNA.

Caution and Warning

• Not suitable for individuals allergic to any of its components.
• Alcohol should be avoided during treatment and for at least one day after finishing Metronidazole to prevent adverse reactions.
