Each tablet contains Aceclofenac (Hifenac-MR) 100 mg, Chlorzoxazone (Hifenac-MR) 500 mg and acetaminophen 375 mg.

Warnings: Hifenac-MR Tablet 10's should not be taken if you have any serious medical condition, severe kidney or liver disease, are planning to become pregnant or are pregnant. Also, consumption of alcohol should be avoided while taking Hifenac-MR Tablet 10's as it may increase the drowsiness and dizziness. So, driving a motor vehicle and operating heavy machinery should be avoided. Excess of paracetamol intake can cause liver damage so; its dose should not exceed more than 4 gm per day.
Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Hifenac MR MR Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Hifenac MR MR Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Alcohol Alprazolam Atorvastatin Cetirizine Codeine Diazepam Diphenhydramine Esomeprazole Interfere with certain laboratory tests Juxtapid mipomersen

Side Effects: A side effect of any drug can be defined as the unwanted or undesired effect produced by the drug. The side effect can be major or in few medications minor that can be ignored. Side effects not only vary from drug to drug, but it also depends on the dose of the drug, the individual sensitivity of the person, brand or company which manufactures it. Over Dose: When a dose is taken in higher dose than the recommended doses, it is called Overdose. Overdose always needs a clinical supervision. Any medicine or drug when consumed in Overdose produces untoward side effects on one or various organs in the body. A medicine is excreted in the kidney or metabolized in the liver most of the times. This process goes without any hurdles when taken in normal dose, but when taken in an overdose, the body is not able to metabolize it or send it out properly which causes the effects of anoverdose.
Precautions: Before using Hifenac MR MR Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below. Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other sedating medications Avoid driving and operate dangerous machinery Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication will affect you Avoid using it if allergic to paracetamol Concomitant use with other sedatives Do not take paracetamol if you consume alcoholic beverages every day Gastro-intestinal disorders History of gastroulceration Other allergies Patients recovering after a surgery
Missed Dose: In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
