Zix R Od Capsule belongs to the therapeutic classification of Non-Opioid Analgesics and Antipyretic Drugs, Antacids and Antireflexux Agents, Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). The primary composition for this medicine is Aceclofenac 200 MG, Rabeprazole 20 MG.

Warnings: Do not take Zix R OD Capsule 10's if you are allergic to Zix R OD Capsule 10's, have severe heart failure, suffered bleeding problems (such as bleeding from the stomach or bowels while taking any pain killers) or liver or kidney problems, have suffered bleeding problems and clotting problems. Inform your doctor before taking Zix R OD Capsule 10's if you have or had disorders of the stomach, blood circulation problem to the brain, asthma, porphyria (a disorder in the formation of red blood pigment), diabetes, high blood pressure, systemic lupus erythematosus (an autoimmune condition that causes joint pain, fever and skin rashes), colitis or Crohn’s disease (conditions causing swelling of the bowel, diarrhoea, bowel pain, vomiting and weight loss); if you are recovering from major surgery or if you are elderly. Do not take Zix R OD Capsule 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Zix R OD Capsule 10's contains Aceclofenac which should not be used during the last three months of pregnancy. Zix R OD Capsule 10's may be excreted in breastmilk. Therefore, avoid breastfeeding and consult a doctor. Zix R OD Capsule 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Zix R OD Capsule 10's can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Zix R OD Capsule 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and may increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Zix R OD Capsule 10's unless prescribed. Prolonged intake of PPIs or proton pump inhibitors like Rabeprazole may cause brittle bones so intake of Vitamin D and calcium can be additionally given by your doctor while using Zix R OD Capsule 10's.
Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Zix R OD Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Zix R OD Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Atazanavir Itraconazole Ketoconazole No reported drug interaction

Over Dose: When a dose is taken in higher dose than the recommended doses, it is called Overdose. Overdose always needs a clinical supervision. Any medicine or drug when consumed in Overdose produces untoward side effects on one or various organs in the body. A medicine is excreted in the kidney or metabolized in the liver most of the times. This process goes without any hurdles when taken in normal dose, but when taken in an overdose, the body is not able to metabolize it or send it out properly which causes the effects of anoverdose.
Precautions: Before using Zix R OD Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Missed Dose: In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
