Wormpel Tablet is used to treat tapeworm infection that affects the brain, muscles and body tissues (neurocysticercosis). It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by destroying the growth of parasitic worms. This medicine helps by preventing the production of energy (adenosine triphosphate) which is essential for the growth of parasitic worms. Wormpel is also used to treat parasitic infection which affects the liver, lungs, and peritoneum (hydatid disease).
Wormpel Tablet may also be taken in combination with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor. Wormpel Tablet is used together with Corticosteroid to prevent the increased pressure inside the skull during the first week of treatment. Wormpel is also used with anticonvulsants to prevent brain-related symptoms such as seizures while undergoing treatment with Wormpel.

Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Wormpel 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
