Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet is a doctor endorsed medication that effectively treats respiratory tract infection. It manages the symptoms of excessive coughing by loosening the mucus (cough). It also helps in killing the infection-causing microorganisms.
Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medication. You should keep taking this medication for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medication.

Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if it causes an upset stomach.Avoid Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Gatifloxacin which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Addition of ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of gatifloxacin.
