Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if it causes an upset stomach.Avoid Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Floxigat M 75mg/400mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Gatifloxacin which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Addition of ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of gatifloxacin.
