Am T Tablet works by blocking receptors resulting in slowing of heart rate and reducing oxygen demand; inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscles;
Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. AM T 5mg/50mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Breast Feeding Interaction: AM T 5mg/50mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and atenolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
