The newer semisynthetic penicillin congeners differ from the natural parent substance in many ways. In some, the antibacterial Activity is either enhanced, or actually different while in others their absorption from the gastrointestinal tract has been tremendously improved. Amoxicillin trihydrate belongs to the latter group. It is being absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

Warnings: After taking NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE if you can have allergy-like symptoms including upset stomach, Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, gas, and mouth sores immediately contact your doctor. NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE should not be given in the patients who are allergic to cephalosporin or penicillin antibiotics, a newborn baby with jaundice, epilepsy (fits) and mononucleosis (viral infection with fever and sore throat). Breastfeeding mothers should consult a doctor before using NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE. NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE should not be given with allopurinol (uric acid-reducing medicines) and other antibiotics like chloramphenicol, erythromycin, and tetracycline.
Medicine Interaction: NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE should not be given with gout medicine (allopurinol), and bacteriostatic drugs which prevent the growth of bacteria (chloramphenicol, erythromycin, and tetracyclines).
