Patients using amoxicillin with allopurinol may experience the increased occurrence of rashes as compared to patients taking amoxicillin alone. It is unknown whether the increased incidence of rashes is due to the combined usage of amoxicillin with allopurinol or due to increased levels of uric acid (hyperuricemia) in patients.
