Warnings: Tell your doctor if you have liver problems (jaundice), muscle problem (myasthenia gravis), heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia), electrolyte imbalance (low potassium or magnesium level). In rare case, the use of Uthral 100 Tablet 3's can cause diarrhoea, so in case if you have watery or bloody diarrhoea, stop taking Uthral 100 Tablet 3's and call your doctor. However, do not take any anti-diarrheal medicine until your doctor tells you. It is not known whether Uthral 100 Tablet 3's harm the baby in pregnancy or not. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before using Uthral 100 Tablet 3's. Do not take Uthral 100 Tablet 3's if you are allergic to Uthral 100 Tablet 3's or other macrolide antibiotics, using cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins like simvastatin, lovastatin etc.), anti-gout or anti-arthritis drugs (colchicine) and medicine for treating overActive bladder (tolterodine). Uthral 100 Tablet 3's is not recommended for the patients with pneumonia who are judged to be inappropriate for oral therapy due to moderate to severe illness or risk factor.
Medicine Interaction: Uthral 100 Tablet 3's have interactions with anti-Nausea pills (domperidone), mental health pills (pimozide, amisulpride), anti-migraine medicines (ergotamine, dihydroergotamine), anti-cholesterol pills (simvastatin), bladder weakness medicine (tolterodine) and anti-gout/arthritis medicine (colchicine). Taking these drugs with Uthral 100 Tablet 3's may cause serious side effects.
Side Effects: Belly pain. - Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. - Loose stools (diarrhea). Yogurt or probiotics may help. You may get these products at health food stores or in some pharmacies.
