Iobrim Eye Drops is used for Open angle glaucoma, Ocular hypertension and other conditions. Iobrim Eye Drops may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.Iobrim Eye Drops contains Brimonidine Tartrate as an Active ingredient.
Iobrim Eye Drops works by reducing the fluid in eye thus reducing eye pressure.

Warnings: Do not take Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml if you are allergic to Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml, Brimonidone, or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have or ever had depression, heart disease or heart problems, poor blood circulation problem (especially to fingers or toes), reduced mental capacity before starting Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or ever had liver or kidney problems, consult your doctor as a dose adjustment may be required. Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml is not recommended for children below the age of 17 years. Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml is for external use only. Before using it, break the seal and wash your hands to avoid any infection. If you wear contact lenses or wearing them, remove it before using Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml, and you can put it back 15 minutes after using Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml. Use Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml within 4 weeks after breaking the seal. When you use Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml, apply pressure on the corner of your eye by closing your nose for one minute for better results of Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml. Please monitor your blood pressure regularly as Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml can cause an increase or decrease in blood pressure. Do not put two eye medications together; wait for at least 5 minutes before putting the second medication.
Medicine Interaction: Iobrim Eye Drops 5 ml may have an interaction with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (isocarboxazid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), antidepressants (amitriptyline, amoxapine, clomipramine, desipramine, doxepin, imipramine, nortriptyline, protriptyline, trimipramine), barbiturates (phenobarbital, secobarbital), heart disease medications (digoxin), medicines for mental illness ( chlorpromazine, methylphenidate, reSerpinane), anti-hypertensives (metoprolol, atorvastatin), and diuretics (furosemide).
Side Effects: The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Iobrim Eye Drops. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away. Oral dryness Ocular hyperemia Burning and stinging Headache Blurring Foreign body sensation Fatigue/drowsiness Conjunctival follicles Ocular allergic reactions Ocular pruritus Erythema Flushing Skin burning sensation Contact dermatitis Iobrim Eye Drops may also cause side-effects not listed here.
