Cacit Tablet is used for Prevention of colon cancer recurrence, Colorectal cancer, Breast cancer and other conditions. Cacit Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Warnings: Before taking Cacit 500 Tablet 10's, inform your doctor if you have any infection because Cacit 500 Tablet 10's may worsen the infections. If you have any allergy symptoms, talk to your doctor, a metabolic disorder called DPD (dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase) deficiency, heart problems, one marrow depression, kidney disease, liver disease, and treatment with chemotherapy or radiation inform your doctor. Some patients may experience increased sensitivity to light while taking Cacit 500 Tablet 10's, and it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant as Cacit 500 Tablet 10's can cause harmful effects on the unborn baby. Both women and men using this Cacit 500 Tablet 10's should use birth control to avoid pregnancy. The use of this Cacit 500 Tablet 10's by either parent may result in congenital disabilities. You should not take this Cacit 500 Tablet 10's during breastfeeding, inform your doctor if you take Cacit 500 Tablet 10's. Use the Cacit 500 Tablet 10's with caution in elderly patients. If you have had leukaemia (blood cancer) and are in remission, do not take live vaccines 3 months after your last chemotherapy. You and your surrounding people, such as family members should not take the polio vaccine. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) in contact with Cacit 500 Tablet 10's catches fire and burns easily. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.
Medicine Interaction: Cacit 500 Tablet 10's interacts with other anti-cancer medicines (folinic acid, oxaliplatin, bevacizumab, cisplatin, irinotecan), antibiotic (metronidazole), medicines used to reduce the harmful effects of anti-cancer medicines (calcium leucovorin), a medicine used to treat gout (allopurinol), a medicine used to treat stomach ulcers (cimetidine), blood thinner (warfarin, coumarin), antivirals (brivudine, sorivudine), and anti-epilepsy medicine (phenytoin).

Side Effects: The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Cacit Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away. Increased bilirubin level Diarrhea Nausea Vomiting Constipation Upper abdominal pain Dyspepsia Hand-and-foot syndrome Alopecia Rash Erythema Fatigue Pyrexia Asthenia Lethargy Dizziness Headache Dysgeusia Anorexia Conjunctivitis Neutropenia Epistaxis Cacit Tablet may also cause side-effects not listed here.
