Milixim Dlx 200 mg/500 mg Tablet is used to treat infections such as bronchitis (infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. This medication also treats the common cold and urinary tract infections.
This medicine only treats bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu. It works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. Milixim Dlx 200 mg/500 mg Tablet usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. It should be taken at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.

Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Milixim Dlx 200mg/500mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it 1 hour before or 2 hour after taking food.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Milixim Dlx 200mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Dicloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Cefixime and Dicloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
