Warnings: Do not take Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to cefpodoxime or any antibiotics. Taking antibiotics of own or practising self-medication may lead to antibiotic resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. Before taking Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's, let your doctor know if you have/had inflammation in bowel, kidney or liver problems. Do not take antacids and anti-ulcer medicines along with Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's and maintain a gap of 2-3 hours between both to avoid any drug interaction. Consult a doctor before taking Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's to prevent unpleasant side effects. Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so be cautious while driving.
Medicine Interaction: Zedocef Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's may have interaction with furosemide (used to treat oedema), warfarin (used to prevent blood clotting), calcium/vitamin D (multimineral for bones), sodium bicarbonate, aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, cimetidine, ranitidine and loratadine (used to treat ulcer and acidity), and probenecid (used to treat excess uric acid).
