Febrex Plus is indicated for symptomatic control of all allergic conditions responsive to antihistamines, including hay fever, vasomotor rhinitis, urticaria, angioneurotic oedema, food allergy, drug and serum reactions, insect bites.
Also indicated for the symptomatic relief of itch associated with chickenpox in addition to that it ca treat the allergic cough.
Warnings: If you are allergic to Febrex Plus Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Febrex Plus Tablet 10's. Do not use Febrex Plus Tablet 10's in breastfeeding mothers without doctor’s advice as it may be excreted in breast milk and cause harm to the baby. Febrex Plus Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 4 years. Please do not take more than the prescribed dose of Febrex Plus Tablet 10's as it may cause liver damage and can be lethal. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism (overActive thyroid), chronic bronchitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), blockage in stomach or intestines, enlarged prostate gland, pheochromocytoma (tumour in the adrenal glands), kidney, liver, heart or urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Febrex Plus Tablet 10's.
Medicine Interaction: Febrex Plus Tablet 10's may interact with anti-allergic drugs (diphenhydramine, cetirizine), antidepressants (duloxetine, escitalopram), anticonvulsants (clonazepam), antianxiety drug (alprazolam), muscle relaxants (cyclobenzaprine), cough suppressants (dextromethorphan), bronchodilator (albuterol), sleeping agent (ramelteon), pain and fever medicines (paracetamol), pain killers (ibuprofen).

Side Effects: CNS depression, sedation, drowsiness, lassitude, dizziness. GI upsets, anorexia, or increased appetite, epigastric pain, blurring of vision, dysuria, dryness of mouth, tightness in chest, hypotension, muscular weakness, tinnitus, euphoria, headache, paradoxical CNS stimulation.
Potentially Fatal: CV collapse and respiratory failure and there is also the side effects of corticosteroids if included.
