Uprise D3 1K Capsule is used for Osteomalacia, Rickets and other conditions. Uprise D3 1K Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Uprise D3 1K Capsule contains Cholecalciferol as an Active ingredient.
Uprise D3 1K Capsule works by providing building blocks for synthesis of enzymes.

Warnings: Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's. Chewable or dissolving tablets of Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's may contain sugar or aspartame, hence caution should be taken in diabetes and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's. Higher doses of Vitamin D than the recommended daily dose should be used in pregnant women only when advised by the doctor. Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's passes into the breast milk, hence breastfeeding mothers need to seek medical advice before starting Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's. Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's is safe to use in children when prescribed by the doctor. Uprise-D3 1000IU Capsule 10's should be used with caution in hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, renal impairment, electrolyte imbalance, heart diseases, kidney stones and hypervitaminosis D (having too much vitamin D).
Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Uprise D3 1K Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Uprise D3 1K Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products: Barbiturates Calcium Cardiac Glycosides Cholestyramine Glucocorticoids Laxatives Other vitamins Phenytoin Rifampicin Thiazide diuretics
Side Effects: The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Uprise D3 1K Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away. High levels of calcium in blood Vomiting Urge to vomit Increased thirst Drowsiness or confusion Constipation Stomach ache Loss of appetite Rash Muscle weakness Kidney stones Rare skin allergies Uprise D3 1K Capsule may also cause side-effects not listed here.
