Tussoric AM Syrup effectively treats wet cough (cough with mucus) in children. It helps in thinning the mucus by increasing its water content. This relieves throat irritation and clears congestion, enabling easy breathing in your child.
Give Tussoric AM Syrup to your child orally, with or without food. Give it with food to reduce the chances of stomach upset. You may be required to give this medication to your child for a few days to weeks, depending upon your child’s clinical condition and severity of the illness. Do not stop the medication abruptly by yourself, even if your child starts to feel better. Continue the medication until the recommended course is complete. Do not give more than the recommended dose for fast relief as it may cause unwanted effects and worsen your child’s condition.
Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Tussoric AM Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Tussoric AM Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin and Terbutaline which relieve cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
