Lumigan Eye Drops is used for Glaucoma, Lengthening eyelashes, Ocular hypertension and other conditions. Lumigan Eye Drops may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Lumigan Eye Drops contains Bimatoprost as an Active ingredient.
Lumigan Eye Drops works by increasing flow of fluids out of eye and decreasing pressure.
Warnings: Do not take Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml if you are allergic or hypersensitive to Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml, other antibiotics, sulfa drugs. Inform your doctor about all the prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, especially eye medications, products that contain aspirin, and vitamins. If you have a kidney problem, uveitis, macular oedema, are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before starting Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml, dose adjustment may be required. If you are taking any other eye medication, please tell your doctor prior. If you wear contact lenses or wearing them, remove it before using Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml, and you can put it back 15 minutes after using Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml. Wash your hands properly before using Lumigan 0.01% Ophthalmic Solution 3 ml to avoid any infection.
Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Lumigan Solution may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Lumigan Solution may interact with the following drugs and products:

Side Effects: The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Lumigan Eye Drops. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
Conjunctival hyperemia
Eyelash growth
Itchy or burning eyes
Visual disturbance
Pigmentation of the periocular skin
Eyelash or iris darkening
Watery eyes
Light sensitivity
Superficial punctate keratitis
Redness around the eyes
Cataract
Lumigan Eye Drops may also cause side-effects not listed here.
