Vitanova-D3 is a Vitanova-D3. Vitamin D is important for the absorption of calcium from the stomach and for the functioning of calcium in the body.
Vitanova-D3 is used to treat or prevent many conditions caused by a lack of vitamin D, especially conditions of the skin or bones.
Vitanova-D3 may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Warnings: Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Vitanova-D3 Sachets . Chewable or dissolving tablets of Vitanova-D3 Sachets may contain sugar or aspartame, hence caution should be taken in diabetes and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Vitanova-D3 Sachets . Higher doses of Vitamin D than the recommended daily dose should be used in pregnant women only when advised by the doctor. Vitanova-D3 Sachets passes into the breast milk, hence breastfeeding mothers need to seek medical advice before starting Vitanova-D3 Sachets . Vitanova-D3 Sachets is safe to use in children when prescribed by the doctor. Vitanova-D3 Sachets should be used with caution in hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, renal impairment, electrolyte imbalance, heart diseases, kidney stones and hypervitaminosis D (having too much vitamin D).
Medicine Interaction: Vitanova-D3 Sachets may interact with drugs treating high cholesterol levels (cholestyramine), anti-epileptic (carbamazepine, phenobarbital), antibiotics (doxycycline, neomycin, and chloramphenicol), drugs treating bone loss (alendronate), thyroid hormone (levothyroxine), diuretics (hydrochlorothiazide) and heart-related medicines (digoxin).

Side Effects: Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop taking Vitanova-D3 and call your doctor at once if you have: chest pain, feeling short of breath, growth problems (in a child taking Vitanova-D3) or early signs of vitamin D overdose--weakness, metallic taste in your mouth, weight loss, muscle or bone pain, constipation, Nausea, and vomiting. Less serious side effects may be more likely, and you may have none at all.
